About EPG and ESG
What are “EPG” and “ESG”?
An electronic program guide (“EPG”) is an on-screen guide to scheduled broadcast television programs, allowing a viewer to navigate and select content by time, title, channel, genre, actors, directors, of other descriptive data.
An entertainment and services guide (“ESG”) is a menu-driven operator-defined onscreen guide to entertainment and services provided by broadband operators.
The AaaHaa EPG/ESG technology platform is supported by the AaaHaa EPG/ESG data collection and management center. AaaHaa’s data team provides daily updates to China’s most comprehensive, detailed and accurate entertainment database, covering TV programs (EPG) as well as internet-based entertainment and services (ESG).

Consumers are able to use AaaHaa EPG/ESG search menus on their TV screens via a variety of home entertainment devices.
PVRs
